1. False promises: They lure employees with promises they never intend to keep, leading to wasted time. There is no leave policy, holiday calendar, medical benefits, or WHF policy, whether you’re ill or dying. During the hiring process, I was promised to give WFH on alternate Saturdays, however, after joining they denied it. After this, I had no option but to work there.
2. Unprofessional behaviour: All upper management, managers, are unprofessional. I was terminated during my medical leave, when “Labour Law” clearly states that an employee can’t be fired during leave.
3. Hire & Fire Policy: The company runs on a hire-fire mentality. I took 15 days of approved “Medical Leave” with pay-cut from August 12 to August 27, 2024. I informed 10 days before my leave, manager, & HR team approved. Per the doctor’s instructions, I couldn’t return to the office on August 28th, 2024, requested a 4-day extension. Instead of understanding my situation, I received a termination notice citing performance issues. This reason is questionable and completely unfounded, as no concerns about my performance were ever communicated. If performance was an issue, it should have been addressed when I was working in the office.
4. Overworkload: I was solely responsible for the content such as content creation across 8 websites, writing short-form copies, content for Instagram and LinkedIn, overseeing 2 freelancers, reviewing their blogs, and many other tasks. I was the ONLY WRITER for three months until a new writer joined. As soon as the new writer joined, they fired me.
