Patient population can be unreceptive to lifestyle change Psychotropic medication nutritional side effects are difficult to counteract w/ nutrition and sedentary patients in a hospital setting

Work load is light, .most of the employees are wonderful to work with.

Very negative, fault-finding administration. Makes for a tense work environment at times. Discipline isn't fault based as much as based on how much of an issue you may make for them. Can be physically dangerous. NO autonomy in nursing. You can't even hand out a cold or hot pack without an order. Hardly any electronic documentation, and RN's are required to double and triple document on paper.
