Unfortunate Disappointment - Food Service Worker Cherry Hospital Employee Review

Pros

Salaried position with stable employment. Department administration makes attempts to be welcoming and have the workplace feel lively.

Cons

Awful working enviroment caused by employees forming cliques and looking down on new employees or employees that attempt to complete all tasks quickly. You will not be able to report policy violations without being singled out by staff that treat work as a "Dont Snitch" social circle, even when they are violating health policies and endangering patients. Additionally, difficult to get enough days off for unexpected issues outside of work, however this is due to being a government position mostly, and not reflective of staff or administrations wishes.

Pros

Day was split about 75/25 with client facing work/planning and documentation time. Predictable pay. SECU eligible. Good insurance.

Cons

Toxic environment in overall department CEATs are housed within, organizational dysfunction, no room to make actual impact with treatment, adjunctive therapies are seen as entertainment, no choice over criteria for group enrollment
