Pros
The upper management is trying to become a “High Performing Organization” but I don’t think if they have embraced the concept. For example, the “employee mission statement” was literally given to all at a mandatory staff meeting with no input from the employees. They try to provide perks such as back massages.
Cons
The leadership has a bad reputation in Southern Maryland which is well deserved and usually at employee expense. There is a concerning level of retaliation fears among mid and long time employees which I have not seen before. An apple can look shiny on the outside but is rotten on the inside.
