Pros
- decent benefits in terms of health and dental because it’s part of the credit union system - flexibility to work from home
Cons
- this organization is an absolute dumpster fire and will recruit people from stable jobs only to let them go within 1 year of joining. Highly dangerous organization so I suggest you factor that into any decision before joining. - fiscal year end layoffs are constant, this organization has zero planning thought process including their resources vs organizational directives. - the strategy changes by the week, you could be working on a product / project one day and the next day it’s just dropped. - the layoff cycles are not related to performance and folks are just picked off when they have no connections to senior leadership.
