Pros

your co-workers are pretty great. We've got each other's backs and understand the frustrations described below. The office space is really cool too.

Cons

So, the job application stated the following: "You'll experience the satisfying feeling of having your ideas put immediately into action. -- No waiting for a committee or buraeuocracy to approve them first." This is a complete lie. Especially if you work in marketing or design. I've worked here several months and have yet to see an entire project go start to finish. There are so many bottlenecks in the process and it's all because upper management has to approve every small change or idea we have before moving forward. This is especially difficult when the weather is nice and the CEO decides to spend the day on his motorcycle. Creative people have no creative freedoms here and it frustrates them daily. I honestly feel lied to. From the outside this place looked great. Awesome office space, pool table, ping pong, a bar.... But you never get to use them. So why am I still here? The paycheck. Nothing more.

Pros

Working remotely for the last 6 years has been great. The company has seen tremendous growth and I think it is largely due to the tenure of employees, their deep historical knowledge, and the care they have to about the company and their teams.

Cons

This year people in the office got raises and those of us at home got skipped over completely. It's worth pointing out that most of the longest tenured employees are all working from home. The people who have been here the longest, know the most and have the most invested in this company are the ones getting passed over.
