Pros

Interviews are intended to draw unemployed editors into a training pyramid scheme. This company pays editors much less than half the sum they charge clients.

Cons

Positive reviews are all written by "management" (the owner). I did the tests and 'qualified' for the next step but when I found out the extremely unsavoury relationship between Lisa Lines and Zac Bruckner I said I had no faith in the company any more. I was subjected to a long hysterical text.

Pros

No pros for the company

Cons

The selection process for an editor position is typically a scam. The company sends a one-page test to be edited. They informed me that if I were shortlisted, they will contact me. Then I was surprised that they contacted to say that I was not shortlisted and attached a paraphrased document, and assuming that this is their level of requirement for editing documents, as if I ignore the difference between editing and paraphrasing! The astonishing issue is that they use the recruitment process to promote their paid, discounted courses. Please be careful in dealing with this company as they change the provided content, not edit it, which means that they are not honest, and they use their job opportunities to withdraw money from editors.
