Pros

The people you work with are great for the most part Annual bonuses are usually very good

Cons

Constant fear of layoffs - layoffs of higher salaried workers regardless of productivity Focus on hiring higher salaried management while laying off people who get the work done Shift from work from home full time to having to go into the office for all staff Annual increases never more than cost of living/inflation increases - sometimes even less Annual employee surveys are indicated as “anonymous” but beware Some people slack off and never get reprimanded despite evidence Not really agile even though that is what is touted - lots of shifting during sprints Management doesn’t like criticism even though you are asked to give feedback - brushed under the rug

Pros

Some of the smartest bright-minded people in IT work there, or used to. Decent pay and benefits.

Cons

The company appears to be in a constant state of reorganization, creating ongoing uncertainty about job security and contributing to low employee morale. This lack of stability has led to confusion, shifting priorities, and an overall lack of focus, which is reflected in the high turnover currently seen within the IT organization. This is especially disappointing because the company was once known for attracting and retaining IT professionals who built long, successful careers there. Leadership appears to lack a clear, unified vision, and that disconnect starts at the highest levels of the organization. Compared with the previous CEO, who despite his shortcomings was widely respected and viewed as an approachable leader, the current leadership feels much more removed from employees. There was once a stronger sense that executives understood and were connected to the day-to-day experiences of the workforce. Today, that connection feels significantly diminished, leaving many employees with the impression of a growing divide between the C-suite and the people doing the work. Honestly, it's quite sad what has happened to Cambia.
