Sinking feeling - Insurance Services CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer Employee Review

Pros

The quality of work, level of expertise, and respect from the few experienced employees that remain with CSAA.

Cons

Our founding fathers of CSAA would be ashamed to be associated with the company they built. The current executive leadership has proven to be incompetent, unreliable, untrustful, and heartless to the frontline employees. The recent layoffs are the most recent example. People getting ISP packages Fed-EX'd to their front door before being notified of their layoffs, over-the-phone termination calls based on a script, and ridiculous self serving articles on our employee website. These overpaid hired guns have no understanding of the concepts that built this once proud organization. They do "their thing" and make things worse with reckless decisions, then leave with financial packages to infiltrate other carriers. You can't even get our famous maps anymore. Get out while you can!

Pros

I am grateful for the resources and vendor relationships that Mobilitas provides. They help me work faster and more efficiently as a Commercial Casualty Adjuster. I also appreciate that the company supports the use of AI, which helps make our work easier and more efficient.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement have become more limited over the past year. It feels like there is not a clear or effective path to move into leadership. The current leadership programs do not feel very helpful or are not geared toward claims roles. It can also feel like staying in the same position for a long time before being seriously considered for promotion.
