I've worked in the mortgage industry for almost 20 years. I moved to CLM because they wanted me to run their inhouse financing for a local builder I had a relationship with. I was paid about 1/3 or what I used to make for originating a loan and the underwriters/closers had no idea what they were doing so it made even the simplest loans an absolute night mare for myself and the clients. Even though we were closing $5M -$6M a month in loans I had to pay out of pocket for my staffs child care expenses because we were so under paid. When I brought this us to the President of the Company "Sandra McDowell" ... she said "if you need your staff to make more money they need to close more loans" . I would highly recommend anyone/everyone to not work for them or do business with them. Clients are not the priority, it is more of an assembly line of loans to close. Stay Away!!!!
