Pros

I spent a year and a half at City Furniture as a Sales associate and first thing I noticed was the great people you work with. The company really does a great job recruiting. This was the first Job I had after moving to Florida and left with great friendships. The management team is the most supportive I have been around and there is real potential to make good money there. You really get out of it what you put in.

Cons

It can be very corporate at times and there can be a lot of micro managing depending on the management team. I prefer to be left to my own ways and if my numbers are good, it shouldn't matter how I choose to sell. That said, they have up to 40 coworkers working in a day and you have to keep them on the same page as best you can. Finally, it may just be my location, but the customers could be very difficult at times. You have to learn not to react, be polite, and just roll with it. Management is very good at working with difficult customers when defusing is needed.
