Pros
Coworkers can make it bearable. Their "mandatory shutdown" around Christmas can be considered "convenient" to some...
Cons
Terrible absence policy based on both a "point system" where every absence can be 1-3 points (at the discretion of the manager) where you can only have points scrubbed one point at a time per month if you don't have anymore absences AND they automatically eat your PTO. By the way they have two "shutdowns", at least, a year where you have no choice but to use your PTO. Their systems are woefully outdated and inefficient (only kept around with the worst phrase in ANY business: "That's the way we've always done it...") and the company culture is a toxic plume of absolute disdain and distrust for upper management with good reason. Worst story I heard? They refused a bonus to a driver that was based on attendance...for him staying him DURING THE MANDATORY COVID19 shutdown. Absolutely appalling and petty. They also have handled Covid19 poorly in general by forcing employees to come into the office to have their temperatures taken very inaccurately despite many clients I interacted with having the safety and luxury of working from home AND my department having the ability to work from home. I had seen many employees try and stay home sick but management would still encourage them to come into work even if they were ACTUALLY BEING TESTED FOR COVID19 AND STILL DIDN'T HAVE THE RESULTS.
