Pros
You realize quickly however bad you had it at other companies you didn't have it this bad. You also learn constructive ways to save money in your personal life since the pay is not good.
Cons
Management: Sketchy at best. The management is constantly insisting that employees break company policies set up by Director level managers. Including but not limited to sending unapproved purchase orders to their vendors. Training: Very limited training conducted by stressed out employees. No business process procedures on file. You are completely dependent on other employees teaching you and you will quickly realize that they are guessing more than half the time. Location: Not a responsible location. Too close to the Fox River and too close to the general public. Multiple tanks consisting of 160K lbs of hazardous material.A truck had damaged the side of the building while it was loading and no one could figure out who did it. When I had asked about the security camera's they laughed. Doesn't make one feel safe. Raises: Raises are hardly given out and if one is lucky enough to receive one it is not beyond a 3 percent living increase. Promotions: You may be promoted if you are related to someone in an upper management position. This company rarely (if ever) promotes from within. A manager had once laughed to me stating the only reason he had gotten his job was because the last manager fell ill. General Attitude: Extremely poor, employees will scream at each other and make harassing remarks in front of HR. HR will turn a blind eye
