Board was ethical. Leadership was expected to perform. Community support of schools.

Small town politics. No economic growth.

In an area with few employers that can pay well above minimum wage, this is good work environment. The location is good and the property is beautiful and has a rich history. Great need for specialized therapists in Special Ed.

Few opportunities for advancement. The frequency of performance reviews varies by supervisor. Recent news about some districts withdrawing from the ISD have raised doubts. As in all K-12, budget issues.
