Pros
Working in a zoo is a job like no other. The organization is very committed to its mission of connecting people with animals and nature. You feel like you are contributing and making difference. A real sense of purpose. The people are great. Helpful, supportive and cooperative. Benefits are great and salary competitive. Work is interesting and never boring. Something different every day.
Cons
Organization runs lean, so can be very busy and hectic some days. If you are not used to working at a fast pace, not the place for you.
