Cons
- Micromanagement - No work life balance, leaders will ENCOURAGE and praise you for working overtime everyday and on weekends - Zoom + cameras on ALL DAY when WFH, they don’t trust their employees to work remotely with their cameras off despite having analytics of our dials per hour - 150-200 dials a day - You’re not encouraged to create quality meetings, they prefer quantity over quality so that managers can get their bonuses - AEs + quals, you’re not supposed to question demos or even watch them, they just want you to dial dial dial - Robot work culture, work, sleep, work, sleep - No creativity, you have to follow their “playbook” - Managers will pretend to care and schedule 1-1s that always get cancelled - ‘Hush hush’ culture when any constructive criticism is brought up the manager will address it away from the team - You will never ever become an AE when you hit 160 quals, there is always a few months extra wait before you can even start onboarding - Rule enforcement is abhorrent, different regions and even individual reps do what they want and get away with it - They dont invest in their employees at all, no team building events, no Christmas party and a tiny cramped office - No diversity in the entire company and only 1 female manager in the entire SDR international department - No pay for notice period and told to leave immediately - Cringy Americanized worldwide sales meetings EVERY week - Worst sales kick off i’ve ever seen and will ever see in my life - Told you’ll be flown out to San Francisco for onboarding and sales kick off, instead sat on Zoom 2pm-11pm everyday - Most insane KPIs, 24 demos and 12 quals a month - Work starts at 8am - Don’t know anyone who genuinely likes being an SDR at BrightEdge
