Knowing that, in some way, you are positively affecting change. Working with the population can be very rewarding. You have an opportunity to help people to realize their dreams.
Cons
After working at ResCare for almost two years, I got a new manager who was incredibly controlling and overbearing; she micromanaged everyone and was aggressive. The population served can be challenging. There are very few raises or incentives but quite a few demands being added daily.
