Pros
Supportive peers, good collaboration amongst team members, free drinks in lunch room, knowledgable senior staff who are willing to share their expertise.
Cons
Management more concerned about numbers than people, very poor work-life balance, expected to pull a full regular day shift after no sleep previous night after all-night pager callout (this happened on a regular basis to all team members), frequent rotation on night pager due to shortage of staff (read: staff hiring and retention issues).
