Pros

- Pleasant staff - Culture can be fun - Work from home Friday

Cons

It is a very sales-driven organization where projects are often started before resourcing is properly thought out. Contracts can be wildly inaccurate in terms of hours and effort a project will take or so open-ended that clients can reasonably ask from their POV you to do whatever, whenever. So it's up to the execution people to meet these expectations without having the needed resources, e.g. burnout. They also blend different roles and seniority levels inappropriately imo, i.e. project managers = account managers = senior specialists = content managers = everything = nothing. Sorry, if you need to design, write code or build a program on a deadline, you shouldn't be thinking about ways to expand a scope that you haven't even finished yet. Sales can work on sales, let other people do the job they signed up for. It's up to management to know who is working on what and when, not for junior people to "improvise" as they go.

Pros

The company recently improved benefits for US workers. There have been a few hiccups but their commitment to ensuring we are taken care of is clear.

Cons

As clients end contracts or reduce their budget I wish there was a better way to offboard people.

Pros

Employed by Brainrider for 4+ years and was embedded at Meta. Enjoyed my time and had a great team at Meta. They make sure to communicate with you and have monthly check-ins to see if you need anything or have any concerns.

Cons

Salary is somewhat low and they are changing their internal structure so reviews don't happen as they should.
