Pros
Great peers and team. Good brand, and a great mission. I grew to love the brand as a consumer because of what it aims to do. In addition to its great tasting drinks and food.
No hassle in using HMO, and didn't have to beg for leaves (both sick and vacation)
My boss is kind but busy so there are times that they are unresponsive. However, my boss listens to concerns and takes into consideration the career path you want and tries, within her means, to mentor you or push you in that direction.
Cons
The office environment. A lot of comments and feedback are taken personally, especially by the older employees. IRs and NTEs are thrown around frequently because a lot of team members don't want to handle misunderstandings in a more civil manner nor do they want to confront each other. Also, the need to baby the top management or regulate their emotions. This is the culture set by the top management which trickles down to management and to rank and files and newly hired.
The workload was also a bit of a concern. Some employees work beyond their job description and beyond working hours just to fill the missing positions.
