Pros
I work with very good clients here, and there's an abundance of top-edge technology to engage with. The team consists of highly talented individuals from LATAM, making it a vibrant and collaborative environment. The compensation, on average, is slightly above market rates for those working directly from LATAM, although there is room for improvement. The company actively encourages professional development by pushing for certifications and even covers the cost of courses if you obtain them. If you are eager to work with data and value opportunities for continuous learning, this company is an excellent choice.
Cons
Presently, there is a lack of job stability, marked by a series of layoffs in recent months. Upon joining, I was informed about a bench system in place, where individuals remain on standby between projects until a new assignment is provided. However, the current reality is that the bench system is no longer operational. Consequently, if a client concludes a project, employees may be terminated, regardless of their exemplary performance. This uncertainty creates a significant challenge as it hinders long-term planning. Moreover, the company undergoes frequent structural changes. While it appears that they are exploring ways to improve, the continuous shifts can erode confidence in the ownership. It seems like a constant state of flux that, over time, makes it challenging to maintain trust and stability in the organization
