Pros
Good group of full time staffers on the creative side, a pleasure to work with. They do get good studio work, which is nice creatively. Lunches are paid.
Cons
You may struggle to get paid, as a freelancer. This is something I was only warned of after taking a gig with them, and it was something I wish I had known beforehand. I was told that although they typically pay freelancers on a net 30 basis, I could be paid on a net 14 day basis if need be. That was something I asked for, and for the first two weeks i was paid in a relatively timely manner. After the job was completed and I was no longer physically there every day, it was like they promptly forgot I existed. I am still owed money for an invoice that was given to them over two months ago, and have been given nothing but the runaround. It has left me with questions about the company's solvency and longevity, where once I would have considered more work or even a staff position there.
It's a shame, because there are good people here and I did enjoy my time working with them, but the extreme difficulty in getting paid for the work is supremely disappointing, and I felt others considering a gig with them should have forewarning of what may happen with their pay. If you can absorb significant delays and don't mind chasing after them constantly, it may not be a huge issue. It has been, for me.
