      Pros

      Good remote work policy Good mission and causes in the Non-Profit sector Strong technology focus, particularly in Azure Strong individual contributions and many staff with long tenure (not so many now)

      Cons

      Continual reorganizations and layoffs, almost every year Product Engineering department obsessed with building everything from scratch A declining and aging product portfolio Very weak and unstable middle-management Limited career options/opportunities Recent large amount of layoffs with many very experienced staff getting laid off Poor leadership who are there for the big paychecks and bonuses

      Honestly, at the time there weren’t many cons.

      Pros

      Decent pay, remote work flexibility, you get to work with some very talented folks.

      Cons

      Used to be proud to work for Blackbaud but that has all but disappeared in last 2 years. Poor and ineffective leadership, false transparency, frequent layoffs, bonuses based off of stock which has been tanking. It's a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs.
