-Feel a bit left out with lack of communication flow and therefore isolated
-Frustration with internal processes and management of resources on projects
-People seem to interact better with whites, while treating non-whites as outsiders, which can be a bit uncomfortable at times as the racial biases seep into the communication flow. As a result, you have to keep annoying one person for all the information. Women are not so friendly in workplace and they look at you differently like an outsider. Saying that even men look at you differently. A simple meet and greet everyday can turn into a chore. One of them even refused to shake my hand after an interview, not once but twice. My other colleague who is white, gets all the communication, so I have to keep bugging them to pass it on to me if it is work related which can be a bit annoying for them. Have to make an extra effort to interact as people are not as communicative when you are non-white. It is almost like they think you have sprouted out of a desert perhaps this is because many never get to interact or have a multicultural group of friends outside of work which is a shame.
-resources are not well managed
-lots of pedantic focus on grammar and spelling not enough on the context and content of work
-not enough adoption of new ideas for benefit to projects
-lack of diversity (doubt that this would have much of an impact especially when you are of a mixed background)
-no induction on first day so you could be trying to find out things on your own, and surprisingly the HR reps only contact you when you have left the company
-very unstructured organization
-had applied as a data scientist but was stuck doing data engineering with serious limitations in access to resources, while helping data scientists with data science things
-the company has severely lacking data science skills
-they won't communicate things with you, so you are kept in the dark, in most cases where information could be quite pertinent to your work, no concept of agile communication which is shared in the wider team, so you are constantly left catching up on the communication flow with unapproachable team members
-you will feel the pinch of discrimination, racial bias on an everyday basis at work while you are kept out of the communication loop which will directly impact your work, including getting weird looks for everyday things
-most people have come through friends, which shows as they don't appear to have many non-white friends in their circle so won't have much to say to you
-people are unapproachable for work related matters and generally turnout to be quite unfriendly
