Pros

Pay was decent but NOT worth it. My non-management co-workers were great.

Cons

I take pleasure in burning this bridge. It's going to be no secret to anyone who works there who this is. And I hope they see this. The creative director and the "big deal" (literally her title, the vagueness of which makes sense because she is bad at everything she does) are truly dreadful managers. They are petty and reckless children who project their insecurities onto everyone around them. They hate themselves and make it your problem. Just bad people. They make mistakes and blame them on you, and even when you make actual mistakes, they see them not as mistakes but as moral failures. They take everything personally. They say to ask questions and then hate you for asking questions. They are husks, empty shells, propped up by nothing but mutual reinforcement of their delusions. They really do deserve each other. They are utterly unaware of how easy it is to see through their nonsense. They laid me off after one of their clients stopped existing (great sign) and oh my god what a mercy. I didn't leave on my own because I hadn't landed anything else yet, but they pushed me out the door and I couldn't be more grateful. My current job pays less but I like it and I would never, ever, ever go back to big (stupid name, by the way). I hope that the business fails. It honestly seems pretty likely. I will buy myself a birthday cake on that day.

Pros

Lower level employees are very enjoyable, not much traffic, great area of town, local shops and restaurants within walking distance, music at work, casual attire, casual atmosphere, employee happy hours/dinners every 4-5 months, early release some holidays, positive reinforcement, decent bonuses, closed during inclement weather

Cons

Salary freezes, denial of PTO, frantic and inept project management, negative office morale, very frequent turnover, unrelenting gossip about clients, other employees, and other agencies, poor leadership, penny clients, unnecessary extra work, no pushback on clients, easily triggered leadership, people play favorites, unrealistic deadlines, no time to think about projects, due today do today, racial insensitivity, lack of diversity (people & ideas), no work from home opportunities, too much office politics, spotty internet/Wi-Fi, spotty server access, A/C goes out regularly
