Pros
Great salary, mostly remote work.
Cons
Bespoke operates like a mercenary outfit, where performance is all that matters regardless of your role or how long you’ve been there. Performance pressure is typical in executive search, but Bespoke takes it further by hiring people with no prior industry experience and then expecting instant results from them anyway. There’s no performance improvement program at Bespoke, and check-ins are inconsistent across the board. Weekly meetings with your manager exist on paper, but how helpful they actually are depends entirely on which manager you’re assigned to, which leaves newer employees especially exposed. On top of that, the person responsible for search flow doesn’t communicate well and doesn’t operate with much professionalism. Combined with everything else, it creates an environment where employees are left guessing about their own standing, and terminations happen abruptly with no real warning.
