Pros

The people you work with are some of the most amazing people.

Cons

Don't say I didn't try to warn you. Belly Bandit is one of the worst places you can work. They'll try to convince you that this is the most amazing place to work, but newsflash, it's not. In my opinion, the owners (3 sisters) are some of the worst people you could work for. They only care about money in their own pockets and don't care at all about ANY of their employees. They've gone through about 150 different people in the past 10 year. Everyone is extremely unhappy. Benefits are horrible. They don't even give you maternity leave, and this is a maternity company! They work you endless hours. They have employees write good Glassdoor reviews so they can outweigh the bad, but the truth always comes out. They don't care about anybody. Don't fall for their scam.

Belly Bandit Response

Thank you for your feedback! Like most companies we do experience some degree of turnover—and fortunately most on great terms. Belly Bandit is proud to say that we have employees who have been on our team for close to a decade or more. We listen to all concerns from current and past employees in order to improve life and culture here at Belly Bandit. While we are unable to offer every benefit that we would like to, currently we provide a monthly contribution to our group health, dental and vision plans. We offer monthly lunch events for staff and activities in our office such as massages and car washes in addition to PTO and paid holidays. We recently launched a new 401K plan and employees are all eligible to open an FSA account through the company. These and other benefits are outlined in our Employee Handbook which is provided to each employee and available in the office at all times. Employees are more than welcome to discuss questions, concerns or even recommendation about benefits and “Life at Belly” at any time with HR or directly with the owners.

Pros

I have never worked for a company where the owners and executive team provide such great support and recognition to their employees. They cultivate a cross-functional atmosphere of teamwork, innovation, and accountability. Management does a great job of fostering a culture of growth and make every effort to provide employees with the resources needed to make their positions flourish. In fact, the Company held a Lunch & Learn event for all new employees, and any older employees who wanted to join, to help get them immersed in the product lines and absorb further knowledge of the brand. Employees loved the event and had the entire day to ask questions and meet some remote employees. The day ended with a wonderful dinner for the entire staff.

Cons

There could be more paid holidays.

Pros

When the sisters do not micro-manage.

Cons

The owners of Belly Bandit and their other company Proof or Shop Proof show off their wealth by social media posts of trips on Private Jets, first class travel for their entire families to Spain, rental mansions, expensive private schools for their kids, except for the LGBT+ sister who has no kids. But they are cheap and demanding on their employees who struggle paycheck to paycheck. Poor examples and causes poor morale.
