Pros
Great culture - everyone is lovely Reasonably approachable management Love the values of the org and ethical approach Very good work life balance People with kids are well accomodated
Cons
Very hierarchical The management is a bit ‘old school’ and not keen on new ideas - they desperately need some younger people on their Board and/or Executive team They struggle to hang on to real superstar high performers for longer than a year or two because the structures to support/develop/train/mentor such staff really isn’t there Definitely not a place where it’s easy to go outside your job description eg you get told to get back in your box As a female, I felt the org did not see me as equivalent to my male peers and I know my salary was also lower than my male peers which I found really demoralising Overall I felt like I wasn’t taken seriously by management given my age (early 30s) and gender- as I said it's pretty 'old school' Reasonable work hours are great but there isn’t much opportunity for people who want to go the extra mile
