Low salaries, product has lost product market fit because no investment in product for years. That is changing now, but we're playing catch up. So new sales are down, and the sales team is disjointed (some teams only work inbound leads, some teams only do cold out bounding, some teams only work partnership referrals) so depending on the team you end up on (inbound sales, you'll make more money and have easier deals) you will have a good or bad experience.
