Pros
Babson College is a truly great place to work. The environment is welcoming and supportive, and employees receive helpful perks such as two free parking permits for commuting. My team and managers are fantastic, which makes this an ideal setting for anyone in an entry‑level role. Babson values its community, and the students are wonderful to work with.
There are many opportunities to get involved on campus, including employee resource groups, fitness classes, and various activities. The gym is easy to access with your ID. Employees also have access to LinkedIn Learning as a professional development resource. The College offers many conferences and summits that staff members can attend to continue growing in their roles.
Cons
Traffic during the commute can be challenging, and the schedule requires four days in person with only one remote day each week. Compensation could always be stronger, especially given the cost of living in the area. Full‑time hours for hourly positions are capped at 35 hours per week since the lunch break is unpaid. Even with these challenges, Babson is a community that truly practices what it preaches, which helps offset some of the drawbacks.
