- Free coffee - A manageable workload - You’ll have an ok time at this company if you have a manager who’s transparent, communicative and believes in a healthy work life balance. However this can only go so far in shielding you from the ridiculous and rigid policies implemented from the top.
Cons
- Stuffy overly corporate offices - High deductible health insurance plans disguised as an improvement from previous ones - overly strict ‘flexible’ work arrangements resulting in termination if not met perfectly - Important changes to work arrangement policies are put into effect with no official communication or with intentional lack of clarity - Limited advancement opportunities. Goal setting and end of year conversations are meaningless time sucking processes. ‘Meets expectations’ is the highest grade you can hope to achieve and promotions are only given out to those who meet arbitrary criteria
