Pros
Co-workers are some of the best people I've ever worked with. They're dedicated, self-motivating, dependable, self-managing, and incredibly talented & intelligent. Benefits are solid and dependable. The work itself is rewarding and for a good cause. It's a good place to build your resumé.
Cons
High turnover rate. You have to fight for every raise and every promotion. Upper management is oblivious to employee needs (even when everyone is clearly stating their pain points) - very little emphasis on training, poor planning, short-sighted projects and unreasonable action, and disrespectful. They assign work outside of a person's job description regularly, without warning, without asking, without guidance/transition, and without compensation for no good reason. HR is nonexistent. The only support we get is from each other. There is very little diversity - it's incredibly white and male dominated. Processes are immature and poorly managed. The company has questionable criteria for electing and advancing leadership. Leadership qualities seem not to involve compassion and understanding, but their ability to relentlessly bring profits at everybody's expense
