If you like to always be on the move, learning new things and enjoy nomadic moving from project to project then Consulting will fit the bill and Avanade follow this lifestyle, you will skill up in many different areas and have a vibrant community of long timers who can support you.
Cons
Can't become an expert in one area, it's really based on the demand the company is seeing. Mentorship is sparse, you have learn by yourself and for such a large and established company, internal learnings and best practices are non-existent. Consulting means you do not form close attachments to others in your company, this is the primary cause of attrition as well as burn out from difficult project working with offshore teams.
