CNA duties keep one very busy. In addition, nurses expect CNA's to do their little odd jobs as well. Policy says everyone is to answer call lights yet when a CNA has just finished helping a pt they come out to a hall with 3 lights and the nurses are sitting at the nurse station loking st their cell phones. No help whatsoever. They want you to take your lunch break so they stay in budget, but staff does not help enough for you to be able to free up time for breaks. You are to put up and shut up. They say open door policy but they do not want any complaints at all. In addition there is no confidentiality. Management tells everyone's business. There are major EEOC and labor law issues at this place. Not a healthy environment at all. Currently going through G tags and lawsuits as well.
