I have valued the opportunity to make a difference to peoples lives across South East Asia through enabling sustainable water management outcomes and to facilitate relationships between water professionals that will endure for years to come. I have valued the friendship and companionship of everyone who makes the Association what it is, from member engagement managers, to events, marketing and finance and to our loyal volunteers and Board. From the day I walked in, I could see how special the AWA family was and that we all work together exceptionally well to deliver core services for the water sector.

Limited career progression and professional development beyond 3-5 years. The volunteer / staff relationship can become strained at certain times.

Supportive and inspirational CEO who has a genuine interest in staff well being. Great place to work for someone who genuinely wants to do good things for the world. LOTS of opportunity to develop skills across a range of job functions and move laterally with the business. Collaborative team who works well with the CEO to deliver the Boards vision and on budget. Trust in employees abilities and competencies. Strong and supportive leadership team. Genuinely a fun place to work - small team but great atmosphere. Great place to be mentored.

Not in the CBD is the only downside.
