Pros
None anymore, the only benefit is work from home but you can get that at most companies in the industry.
Cons
Where to begin: Atlas rode the high that everyone in this industry did during COVID, then proceeded to ignore every single sign of the upcoming downturn. It didn’t matter that their sales staff warned them of the need for change, it didn’t matter that their travelers started leaving by the 100’s, it didn’t matter that their employees started looking for other jobs. All that mattered was keeping the banks happy and pumping as much money as they could into the salaries of upper management and promoting anyone in the family tree or that kissed the ring. Since then, it’s only gotten worse. What was once a really great place to work is now known for regular layoffs, a horrible work environment, and pretty much a nobody in the industry. In an unsurprising move, Atlas has made zero changes to their C-suite and upper leadership teams that single handedly sank the ship and blamed the crew the whole way down. Instead, they continue to lay off top performers (specifically and suspiciously mostly women) and operate as if nothing is wrong. It will be a shock if Atlas doesn’t shut their doors or sell for pennies on the dollar in 2025.
