The process for approving a loan has become very unwieldy and difficult to manage. There is a lot of friction between the working groups and lack of a coherent workflow. Senior leadership opt for many changes in succession which results in cascading and accumulating issues due to insufficient change management and training.
There is a strong expectation to work high amounts of overtime to get ahead. Though the culture is relaxed at times, it can be highly political regarding promotions. Many staff were also made redundant, some starting as little as 3 months ago.
