Pros
I basically got to work on day one.
The setup process was seamless and without bureaucracy.
The team is small and mostly friendly.
By far the most engaging and social standups I've ever been a part of.
Most of the people were very good about including me and catching up about life outside work.
Cons
I was laid off after three weeks on the job and told they had decided to change direction and outsource my position.
I feel like that is a mark of horrible irresponsibility, toying with someone's livelihood.
I made some compromises to join them early and leave my previous position as soon as I could, at their request, when personal circumstances would have made it better for me to join a month later.
I had wondered why the interview process was so quick and easy.
I can only assume they decided to experiment and were happy to gamble with my position.
Some members of management were also very crass and obnoxious.
That doesn't have to be a big deal, depending on who you are, but it is something to be aware of and could be very unpleasant at times.
