Ask for ALL details! Clients complains they can't afford you and you feel awful leaving them! Many employees don't charge mileage because ONLY the employer benefits - you can drive 40 miles but you are not reimbursed for mileage or gas! You will be given overnight shifts and only the employer gets the differential! You are made to feel like a criminal if you don't pick up a shift and are called during working hours so have to quickly respond while working with another client. Nothing feels worse than telling a client you have to go take a call when they are paying you for đź’Ż % of your attention but if you don't answer their call within 20 mins you get in trouble. Training is online - my first client needed bathing but I wasn't sure how to do it. Any company hired to care for someone should have employee training PRIOR to being sent out with a client!
