Pros
The job itself was easy enough and decent paid for Romania. Base salary is low but lot of chance to double it with easy to reach bonuses such as getting positive surveys and placing orders for customers. No outbound calling or typical salesman stuff, just place the order if the customer doesn't want or if there's an issue. Work conditions were ok, and colleagues were by and large great.
Cons
Biggest issue is that it's hard to advance unless the team managers like you. I was at least 10 years older than many of them and with a family, so despite being top of the team for 11 months straight after I started on the project, kept getting passed over in favor of younger, more outgoing candidates for anything that was going. Sure I was making more than them since they don't get the bonuses, but it's not the point when you want to advance career wise. Eventually left when an agent that I consistently beat every month, sometimes doubling her results, got a coaching position ahead of me. Team managers are short sighted and mediocre because of this kind of policy. Only occasionally you can find a decent one that works hard and looks after your interests.
