Pros
Overall a flexible work schedule. Working for tips can be frustrating sometime, but on the average (including slow day and busy weekends) I'd average around 9-10/hour, so include you base pay it's decent for a part time job in an area with a low cost of living. Also management usually allowed you to trade shifts with other employees if you needed a particular day off.
Cons
Getting time off to travel over the holidays can be very difficult and frustrating. The best shifts to make money are Friday and Saturday nights so you have to work weekends if you want to make money. People often didn't show up for work so management would often call on short notice to ask if you can work. You don't have to show up since you weren't scheduled, but always saying now will affect your future shifts.
