Pros
AppIt Ventures has nailed the philosophy of having a healthy work/life balance. We have two offices--one in Denver and another in Hyderabad. It is important for us to hire the right people to ensure we maintain a cohesive culture in each office and between teams. This makes work always enjoyable to come into, even on stressful days. We're a collaborative team that wants to always be improving ourselves, our processes, and the business. While everyone in our offices is very hard-working, we also prioritize making time for fun. We have team outings at least once a month and reserve time at the end of the week to hang out with each other and play games.
Cons
Projects can be stressful due to the nature of the business because sometimes projects are more demanding than others and sometimes multiple projects are demanding at the same time. This is just a challenge of setting expectations, being flexible, managing time, and knowing when your bandwidth is close to capacity. We're growing so an eventual solution will be to hire more great, hard-working people!
