Pros

Working remote was the only pro. The benefits were good, but not worth the stress.

Cons

They lie about commissions (you won't get what they promise) which you won't see until pay starts coming in, and yes it is less than expected. You feel like you are on a never ending carousel - you don't know whether to focus on making the most phone calls you can, or give quality to those live bodies who do answer. And almost everyone you call, has already been pounded into the ground by another rep who just called them 4-7 days ago - even though you are told they churn the leads after being held for long durations- NO. So you are calling angry people who hang up on you, call you bad things, and you wonder how you will ever make your objectives or any money working the poor leads you are getting. Guess what, you won't! The reps making any money are fed the better leads based on their longevity, and getting those leads "who want to buy" they sell more! And thus, the wheel keeps turning. They sell more, get all the quality leads, and you beat your brains out working long hours with a great deal of stress, make no money, and have the threat of being fired for not making you objectives on a timely basis. Save your health - find another job!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your thoughts around lead distribution and commission incentives. We want to give all of our representatives a chance to be successful by distributing leads fairly and providing training & management support to help individuals meet their goals. We also offer a base salary in addition to an uncapped commission structure so employees have stability when leads take longer to close, but have a lot of opportunity for upward compensation. - Tom Cheatham, SVP Sales Strategy

Pros

The culture is generally positive, and leadership is accessible. Management is willing to meet with employees and listen to concerns. There are talented people throughout the organization, and the work can be rewarding if you enjoy sales and helping businesses grow.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the compensation structure. The company promotes uncapped commissions, but many employees feel earnings are effectively controlled through continually increasing quotas and changing performance targets. Revenue and nominal goals are adjusted so frequently that it can feel like the finish line is always moving. What's particularly frustrating is that the majority of the sales team often struggles to reach 100% of quota, yet goals continue to rise. This creates the perception that compensation expense is being managed through quota increases rather than by allowing top performers to fully benefit from the revenue they generate. Over time, this can discourage high achievers. Employees who consistently perform well are often expected to deliver significantly more results each year just to maintain the same level of compensation. When exceptional performance is met with ever-increasing targets instead of proportionally increasing rewards, motivation suffers.
