False promises, manipulation and a toxic culture. First of all, expect to dedicate your entire life to your job. You will receive phone calls at 10pm, be asked to come back at the drop of a hat and be expected to work 6 days a week for mediocre pay. My initial offer letter included a performance review and salary renegotiation after 3 months, I waited almost 8 months after my requests to meet with upper management were continuously ignored. There is also a tendency to overload their employees in an attempt to save money which would frequently impact deadlines and turn around times, resulting in difficult relationships with property management that we were left to deal with, all while being told not to throw anyone from our company under the bus and being expected to handle the implications ourselves. I was also continuously promised I would be making commission off of party bookings for months, another false promise that never happened. Initially, I was so excited to work with this company, I spent a lot of hours trying to grow something I really believed in. At the end of the day a lot of us were sold on a dream that didn’t exist.
