Due to lack of overall organization, poor communication, including disjointed management and leadership- it was hard to succeed. The company expanded way too fast, and was running before it could walk - costing amazing, talented people to lose their jobs during peak inflation. Then those people were forced to sign “severance” in the form of an NDA to keep quiet of all the illusions Alviere presents as a company. Dishonesty. Many employees were concerned of layoffs in December 2022. We brought this to the attention of management. We were ignored and told that we are “lucky” to still have jobs and the company was fine, etc - just to be laid off 2 months later and that benefits END at midnight the same day. Absolutely disgusting. Micromanagement. I was never allowed to take ownership of my job or what I was actually hired for. When I say complete chaos across the board - that would be an understatement. The constant shift of company direction lead to months and months of stagnancy on repeat. Absolutely no one could get anything done that actually mattered or made a difference because most of the time is spent on ideation instead of execution, changing teams, ZERO set workflow processes, deadlines, nothing. It was honestly more of a headache than it was worth. They promised bonuses that they cancelled halfway through 2022, and as a failing company the equity is worthless now.
