Management prioritizes quota over ethics and team morale:

Shout-outs for hitting quota often backfire, creating unhealthy competition. Quotas don’t account for territory, inbound leads, or the fact that not everyone gets to attend conferences and generate new opportunities.
If you attend a conference, you are expected to cover all expenses upfront and reimbursement can take up to two months (and may require follow-up).Hotel accommodations will require room sharing with executives, which is very uncomfortable.
