Pros
You are able to manage many aspects of your own store. Great discount. The company has big dreams. They are very aggressive with their sales plans, and their store opening plans. They do give their employees opportunities to be involved with local charities. They encourage volunteer work, and reimburse hourly employees for a few hours a month.
Cons
There is no work life balance. There were many weeks here I would work 60+ hours, and many weeks consecutively without a day off, even though the store is closed on Sundays. There is a lot of room for growth and development within the company. Not only in regards to needing a more defined structure of upper level management, but also with in daily operations. Upper level management makes a lot of promises and doesn't follow through on any of them. The pay is poor. The CEO is very hot headed and has unrealistic goals for his stores and his employees. He does not provide the resources to achieve what he is asking for. A lot of ultimatums are made when things do not go his way.
