Pros

None really. If you speak to their hired staff in the field, the staff well tell you "yeah, it's ok."

Cons

Their site and verbiage are a bold faced lie. They do nothing remotely similar to "seeking career staff with a long term view" and "are like family." They are awesome marketers of their open positions. Unfortunately, they never respond. My resume is beyond golden as to a fit with them. I'm even had the courage to walk into their office, have them check my applications, my assessment scores, my resume, and my capability. Everyone agreed it's a perfect fit, where I was told I'd be called for a position interview by the on site rep within 24 hours. Never heard from them. What I have heard from is Allied sending me 2 -8 messages a day saying they have an opening for me. Totally bogus, and I call theft...taking up the use of my time. To their defense, yes, the entire Atlanta employment market has sold their souls. Kroger just got fined 100,000,000 for lying to interviewees and staff. I teach ethics classes part time and stand firm to take Allied on that they are one of the most unethical companies in this region for blatant lying and misdirection of potential employees. I'd say "run rabbit run." But if you don't mind being a square on an Excel spreadsheet in their system, and do get hired as one of their serfs, looks like the employees like it as it's easy, there is no contact by the company, and you do generally get hours. So there you go. But to make the Cons succinct, the vergiage on their website, job applications, and career site are totally false. Maybe what they'd like to be one day, as it helps them sell more work. But there is no minute evidence of action on their part.

Pros

The role provides subsistence-level wages, offering little financial security.

Cons

Management arbitrarily downgraded my position from full-time to part-time, yet still demanded overtime. I grew overwhelmed and complained that overtime was impeding my health. After that I was told then don't do overtime like it wouldn't negatively affect me. After moving me from a solid post to a flex post, they expected me to show up with only an hour's notice. They then used an "available quota" as an excuse to terminate me after creating a schedule that made it impossible to succeed. The company's adaptive workflow seamlessly absorbs last-minute modifications with zero friction. Advice to Management: Treat your employees' time with respect instead of setting them up to fail with unrealistic scheduling and quotas. I advise management to invest more heavily in employee development and modernizing our core tools. Providing clearer pathways for advancement and better operational resources would significantly boost morale and retention.
