Pros

There are so many but these are the main ones: 1. The people. It sounds cliche but Allied hires enthusiastic, motivated and smart people who inspire me to contribute above and beyond by daily tasks (it helps that I get to work on fun projects such as implementing Allied's first mentorship program!) It's been rewarding to receive positive feedback about the program from participants and see them grow in their careers). I know other employees would tell you the same thing about the Allied team because I hear it first-hand all the time. 2. I am proud to say I work at Allied. I love telling people about my job, Allied's buildings and mission. Our buildings are not only beautiful, but they also support the humanity in all of us (wellness, creativity, connectivity and diversity). My personal values very much align with Allied's. 3. Allied cares about it's employees by offering learning and development opportunities, amazing group benefits, fair pay, and other fun and educational programs that support our well-being (social activities, puppy socials, corporate discounts, Interesting educational sessions related to EDI and company updates.

Cons

Some people don't think they want to work at Allied because we work in the office 5 days a week. But I love it. All the pros above make it worth any commute. Coming to work at Allied energizes me and allows for so many opportunities to learn that you don't get working remotely.

Pros

Salary is reasonable for the industry.

Cons

Toxic workplace, management are micromanaging and they lack any compassion. They are robots and do not walk the walk they talk. They say a lot of industry buzz words that mean nothing when it comes down to it. Turnover is very very high, most staff are new and have no clue what they are doing. Their tenants do not like allied as a company and you will battle issues left by previous staff. Some of the reviews are also written by management. You can tell by their buzz words and fake tone.

Pros

I do not have any significant positive feedback to provide based on my experience.

Cons

Limited opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. Management often relied on excessive micromanagement, which created a lack of trust and autonomy in the workplace. Favoritism appeared to influence decision-making and opportunities, leading to inconsistent treatment of employees. The overall company culture was negative, with low morale, poor leadership practices, and a work environment that did not support employee engagement or development. Overall, it was one of the least positive workplace cultures I have experienced.
