Pros

They pay for your health insurance. That's it.

Cons

This is a family owned company so they get away with treating and speaking to their employees poorly. The owner (who is the co-owner’s husband) is not a good person. When he is in the office he will talk down and curse at you and flip you the bird. It is an extremely uncomfortable work environment. The co-owner (the wife) will literally scream at you and over the littlest things. She is the worst boss I have ever had. Also the job you are hired to do will constantly change. My offer letter said to make 75 calls a day but you will be constantly pulled into other projects so making your numbers is extremely difficult. There is so much employee turnover at this company as a result of the way the owners treat their employees. I truly believe this company will not last. The company has been going down the drain since their old partner passed away. The misery you will go through is not worth the money. If you have another opportunity do yourself a favor and take it!

Alliance Labs Response

Thank you for your feedback and appreciate your valuable insight for our company. Your feedback helps us improve in areas we may be lacking and gives us an opportunity to grow and become a better company for our employees. The co-owner's late husband would have valued your opinions and feedback too, he was loved by many and this comes as a shock to hear this was your experience, as this would've been a first complaint we would've received. Alliance Labs strives to have a complete open door policy when it comes to leaning all kinds of feedback from our employees. We are truly sorry you did not take advantage of that policy and bring these matters to your supervisor or the HR manager. We wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.

Pros

Landing this job at Alliance Labs has been nothing short of a blessing. When we moved to phoenix for my wifes job it was next to impossible to find the happy medium between a great corporate job with good benefits & pay and a job that I felt I made a difference in. I have been working for alliance labs now for a little over 4 years in their marketing and business development department. This is a family ran business, so I was a little hesitant at first since all I have ever worked in was large manufacturing outfits and never really had any experience working in a tight nit outfit. From the day I had my second interview with the two owners (husband & wife) I knew this was my place to root. The two were a perfect compliment to each other, the husband (Steve) has a personality that you will immediately like him the second you meet him, he made me feel welcomed and excited to work and was very light in his approach to business, he likes to joke around quite a bit. He is also a brilliant mind, very business savoy and the wheels always seem to be in motion in his mind, he is always finding ways to grow the business and strengthen our team. His wife (Amy), is also a very similar personality, a bit more straight edge than her husband but a very kind person. I work directly for Amy in my position. Amy is one of those few people you will meet in life that just makes you say wow, she is so dedicated to the growth of this company, always on the offense when it comes to sales and marketing growth she does not just wait for sales to come to her and her sales team. I have had the privilege to be apart of this company and see how a solid team can really scale a businesses, I have also been able to learn a great deal while seeing her in motion. As for my colleagues here, it has been a privilege to get to know these great, unique people over the years. The staff that has been here for a few years are very bright, caring, and a hard working group of people! I think this has a lot to do with the company outings we have, the culture the owners have created, and the personal touch the upper management displays to us.

Cons

Due to the nature of a small growing business, there is little room for a title promotion. However, I must disclaimer this. Although the room for fast title advancement is hard, the starting pay, bonuses and benefits are higher than average. The 2 owners are quick to reward their staff with raises, bonuses and other perks when a good job has been done.

Pros

If you are looking for a family owned & operated company where the owners and staff care about each other and the business, then this is the place to be! Your ideas and input are valued and you have the opportunity to try many new things. The owners are genuine people who take care of their employees in so many different ways, and are firm believers in the "work hard, play hard" mentality. As people, and as a company, the owners and staff truly care about their patients and work diligently every day to ensure that the needs and expectations of the patients are not only met, but exceeded. As with all businesses, the employee/employer relationship here is no different from corporate america. What you put in to your position and to the company, is what you receive in return - the harder you work, the more you are rewarded. There is and always has been a true sense of teamwork and commitment and no matter what the task at hand is, everyone always pull together to get accomplish it together. It makes you excited to come to work everyday!

Cons

Not a con for those of us here, but if you are wanting slow paced and smaller workloads, then this won't be a strong fit for you.
